The South Atlantic Conference Announces Date for Inaugural South Atlantic Conference 5K in Rock Hill, S.C.
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference will host the Inaugural South Atlantic Conference 5K on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 8:00am at the Novant Health BMX Supercross Track in Rock Hill, S.C.’s Riverwalk District. The event will serve as a fundraising opportunity for the Rock Hill Parks Foundation which is dedicated to preserving, enriching and maintaining cultural, environmental and recreation facilities and programs in the Rock Hill community.
“The city of Rock Hill and, in particular, the Parks, Recreation and Tourism department, has been a wonderful partner for the SAC for over a decade,” South Atlantic Conference Commissioner Patrick Britz noted. We are thrilled to partner with them on this first-ever 5K race and hope it can grow into an annual and successful event for our community.”
Online registration is now open at the official race website, https://runsignup.com/Race/SC/RockHill/SAC5K. The entry fee is $25 for pre-registered runners by Oct.29 and includes an official race t-shirt, and $30 after Oct. 29. Runners can also sign up on race day starting at 7:15am.

The South Atlantic Conference 5K will also feature a finish line party with awards, music, food, vendors and giveaways. Awards will recognize the top three finishers in each age group as well as the fastest overall male and female runners.
