Queens Men and Women Along with Wingate’s Women Cross Country Teams Qualify for NCAA Division II Championship, Three Individuals from Wingate, Tusculum and Carson-Newman Also Qualify
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com)– The NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Committee has announced its participants for the 2019 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships.
Queens Men and Women Cross Country teams automatically qualified after finishing first in the NCAA Regional Championships this past weekend. Wingate Women's Cross Country team also qualified by taking third-place overall, respectively only the top three teams receive automatic bids.
Reigning SAC Women's Cross Country Champion Tusculum's Nicole McMillen, placed second this past weekend carving her spot in the upcoming NCAA DII Championship. Wingate's Micah Kipchumba and Carson-Newman's Rachel Strayer will also make an appearance.
The NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships will be held on Nov. 23 in Sacramento California.
