Isiah Royal of Newberry Named South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Men’s Wrestler of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Isiah Royal of Newberry has been selected as the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Men’s Wrestler of the Week.
The reigning two-time South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Men’s Wrestler of the Year was 2-0 last week. Currently ranked No. 1 nationally at 141 pounds, Royal first bested John Stuart of Liberty via fall in 2:44. The Guyton, Georgia native then posted a major decision over Nicholas Voiles of Emmanuel.
