South Atlantic Conference Announces WePlayed Sports Women’s Lacrosse Players of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference has announced its WePlayed Sports Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played during week four of the 2025 season. Josie Tinnerello of Lincoln Memorial has been named the Offensive Player of the Week, while Mackenzie Dorr of Newberry has been named the Defensive Player of the Week.

Tinnerello, a junior, had a standout performance in Lincoln Memorial's 14-6 win over North Greenville. She scored nine of the team's 14 goals, tying for the most goals scored in a single game in LMU program history. She finished the game with 11 shots on goal while also recording two assists and one draw control.

Dorr, a senior goalkeeper, played a key role in her team's victories over Barton and North Greenville. She made 11 saves against Barton, facing 17 shots on goal, and added another 10 saves against North Greenville. Across both games, she recorded a .677 save percentage.
