Coker and Carson-Newman Remain in Top 25
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) -- The WBCA and D2CSC National Women's Basketball Polls were released this afternoon and the South Atlantic Conference boasts two nationally ranked programs.
Coker jumped to their highest ranking of the season in each poll. The Cobras are up to No. 14 in the WBCA poll and No. 15 in the D2CSC poll. They jumped two spots in the WBCA poll and are up four spots in the D2CSC. Coker impoved to 15-1 overall and 11-1 in conference play.
Carson-Newman remains in the national rankings for the 11th consecutive week. The Eagles won games against UVA Wise and Wingate last week to stay at No. 25 in the poll. They sit at 14-4 overall and 11-3 in SAC play.
