Carson-Newman's Sullivan Earns SAC WePlayed Sports Women's Basketball Player of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Carson-Newman guard Jennifer Sullivan has been named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played during week ten of the 2024-25 season, the Conference announced today.
Sullivan, a junior from Knoxville, Tenn., helped Carson-Newman to wins over Wingate and UVA Wise last week. Sullivan scored a career-high 29 points versus UVA Wise, her 7th 20+ point game this season and recorded a double-double in a 34-point win versus second place Wingate. She would add 17 points and a career-high 10 assists in the win over Wingate. She drilled nine three pointers between the two games, with five versus UVA Wise and four versus Wingate. She now has eight games this season with three or more 3-pointers with 5+ assists in both games.
