ANDERSON, S.C. -- The Catawba women's basketball team kept its season alive for one more game, upsetting second-seeded Anderson 70-64 in the opening round of the South Atlantic Conference Tournament on Wednesday night at the Abney Center. The seventh-seeded Catawba Indians improve to 16-12 and advance to a Saturday semifinal meeting with third-seeded Wingate at Furman's Timmons Arena.
