SAC Softball Places Four on Daktronics, NFCA All-America Teams
A total of four SAC softball student-athletes have been named to the Datkronics and NFCA All-America Teams.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – A total of four SAC softball student-athletes have been named to the Datkronics and NFCA All-America Teams.
Those earning Daktronics All-America accolades are Mars Hill second baseman Jamie Hockaday, Anderson outfielder Molly Child and Carson-Newman outfielder Kelli Hensley. The SAC is represented on the NFCA team, meanwhile, by Catawba pitcher Carley Tysinger.
Hockaday ranked second in the SAC with a .466 batting average, Child was second in the league with 14 home runs and a .405 average, Hensley led the conference with a .492 batting average, and Tysinger led the league with 293 strikeouts and finished second with a 1.29 ERA.
