Queens Stays in National Poll Rankings at No. 18, 5 SAC Men’s Cross Country Teams Ranked in Southeast Region
NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced week five of its Southeast Region Men's Cross Country Poll on Tuesday (Oct. 15.) While also releasing week five of the National DII Men's Cross Country Rankings today (Oct. 16.)
Five teams from the South Atlantic Conference were represented in the poll, with Queens dropping No. 2 after four consecutive weeks. After a competitive weekend the Royals moved just two spots down in the National Rankings to No. 18.
Catawba checked in at No. 5 this week, with the No. 6 spot belonging to Wingate and down one spot at No. 8 is Anderson.
Rounding out the SAC teams is Lenoir-Rhyne at No. 9
The SAC cross country season is underway with meets leading all the way up to the SAC Championship Meet at the end of the month (Oct. 26.)
