SAC Cross Country Teams Recognized in Latest USTFCCCA Regional Poll

NEW ORLEANS – A total of four SAC cross country teams have been ranked in the most recent USTFCCCA cross country southeast region polls, the organization recently announced.
In the men's poll, 15-time defending SAC champion Mars Hill is ranked No. 5, while Lenoir-Rhyne checks in at No. 9.
Mars Hill's most recent outing resulted in a team championship at the Bulldog Stampede last Saturday. Lenoir-Rhyne last competed on Sept. 8, when it finished third at its home Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational.
In the women's rankings, Lenoir-Rhyne is No. 9, followed by Wingate at No. 10.
The Bears haven't ran since winning the team title at the Lenoir-Rhyne Invitational on Sept. 8, while Wingate is coming off a runner-up finish at last weekend's Bulldog Stampede.
