Anderson’s Hay, Bishoff Take Home SAC Runner of the Week Awards
Anderson's Deniz Hay and Whitney Bishoff have been named the SAC Cross Country Runners of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Anderson's Deniz Hay and Whitney Bishoff have been named the SAC Cross Country Runners of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.

Hay finished 12th overall and tops among all D-II runners to lead the Anderson men's cross country team to a season-best third-place finish at the Gene Mullin Furman Cross Country Invitational.
Hay's time of 27:06 came against a 12-team field that included five Division I teams and 89 runners.
Bishoff set a new course record en route to winning the women's field of the Gene Mullin Furman Cross Country Invitational. The Winder, Ga., native paced the Trojans for the fourth time in as many outings this season, leading AU to fifth place in an 11-team field that featured a total of 94 runners.
Bishoff posted a time of 17:56 and crossed the finish line a comfortable 13 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor.
This is Bishoff's third Runner of the Week recognition in 2011.
