South Atlantic Conference Concludes NCAA DII Swimming & Diving Championships with More All-American Honors
INDIANAPOLIS, IND – The South Atlantic Conference wrapped up the 2025 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships with multiple standout performances, earning more All-American honors on the final day of competition. The top eight finishers in each event earned All-American status.
Wingate's Fernando Dehaudt secured a fourth-place finish in the men's 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 15:17.76, earning All-American recognition. Catawba's Nazar Herashchenko followed closely behind, finishing sixth in 15:21.95 to also claim All-American honors.
In the men's 100-yard freestyle, Catawba's Maksymil Minichowski finished fifth with a time of 43.09, while Wingate's Yassine Sebbata placed sixth in 43.25. Both earned All-American status.
Wingate's women's 400-yard freestyle relay team of Natalia Dwojak, Nina Azirovic, Elizabetaula Ozola, and Lucinda Andrews secured an eighth-place finish with a time of 3:21.80, earning All-American recognition.
In the men's 400-yard freestyle relay, Wingate's team of Yassine Sebbata, Vlaimir Krstulovic, Mike Topchanalis, and Anton Witzell finished sixth in 2:54.25, adding another All-American relay honor for the Bulldogs.
At the conclusion of the championships, Wingate finished sixth in the men's team standings with 174.5 points, while Catawba placed 16th with 93 points. On the women's side, Wingate finished 13th with 115 points, and Catawba placed 14th with 102 points.
