All-American Honors Continue at 2025 NCAA DII Swimming & Diving Championships
INDIANAPOLIS, IND – The South Atlantic Conference continued to shine at the 2025 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships, adding more All-American performances to their tally. The top eight finishers in each event earn All-American status.
Wingate's Fernando Dehaudt delivered an outstanding performance in the 500 Freestyle, securing a runner-up finish with a time of 4:20.83. Catawba's Nazar Herashchenko also earned All-American honors, placing sixth with a time of 4:22.13.
In the women's 100 Breaststroke, Wingate's Natalia Dwojak claimed a fourth-place finish in 1:01.26, while Catawba's Sydney McKenzie finished seventh in 1:01.92.
Catawba's Maksymil Minichowski picked up another All-American accolade with an eighth-place finish in the men's 100 Breaststroke, clocking in at 53.41.
Carson-Newman's Megan Corcoran secured All-American status in the women's 200 Butterfly, finishing eighth with a time of 2:01.42.
In the men's 200 Butterfly, Wingate's Alexander Smyre earned a seventh-place finish in 1:46.45, adding to his program's list of All-American honorees.
Through the first 30 events, Wingate sits at No. 9, Catawba at No. 15, and Carson-Newman at No. 21 in the men's team standings. In the women's standings, Wingate currently holds the No. 13 spot, Catawba ranks No. 14, while Carson-Newman is at No. 28.
