The South Atlantic Conference Announces WePlayed Sports Swimmers of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Swimmers of the Week for meets competed through January 26. Emory & Henry's Hope Christensen was named the Women's Swimmer of the Week, while Emory & Henry's Caleb Patton was named the Men's Swimmer of the Week.

Christensen touched first in three events during Emory & Henry's meet vs King. The senior from Moroni, Utah placed first in the 50 Free (23.89), 100 Breast (1:10.37), and the 400 Medley Relay (4:13.86). Christensen also finished second in the 400 Free Relay (3:54.65).

Patton captured a first-place finish as well as three second-place finishes in the Wasps' meet vs King. The junior from Marion, Va. Finished first in the 400 Individual Medley (4:28.26) and second in the 1000 Free (10:29.15), 400 Medley Relay (3:56.34), and the 400 Free Relay (3:29.36).
