The South Atlantic Conference Announces WePlayed Sports Swimmers of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Swimmers of the Week for meets competed through January 12. Wingate's Livia Kingsland was named the Women's Swimmer of the Week, while Wingate's Yassine Sebbata was named the Men's Swimmer of the Week. 

In No. 7 Wingate's meet vs No. 4 Tampa, Kingsland captured first place in the 500 Free with an NCAA Division II B cut time of 5:02.51. 

Sebbata collected three silver medals touching second in the 200 Free (1:38.09), 100 free (45.56), and the 200 Free Relay (1:23.62). The freshman from Morocco has the fastest 200 Free and 100 Free times in the SAC this season.
