The South Atlantic Conference Announces WePlayed Sports Swimmers of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Swimmers of the Week for meets competed December 17. Catawba's Jolina Franke was named the Women's Swimmer of the Week, while Catawba's Juan Celis was named the Men's Swimmer of the Week. 

Franke won two individual events finishing first in the 100 Freestyle (1:20.65) and the 200 Butterfly (2:19.55) as the Catawba Indians defeated Lenoir-Rhyne 150-63. 

Celis won two individual events as well as the 400 Free Relay leading Catawba to a 150-75 win over Lenoir-Rhyne. The senior from Columbia took first in the 50 Freestyle (21.52) and the 100 Freestyle (46.89).
