Five SAC Student-Athletes Named CSC Academic All-Americans
AUSTIN, Texas -- Five South Atlantic Conference men's soccer student-athletes have been named to the 2024 Academic All-America team as selected by the College Sports Communicators.
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division II Academic All-America® program.
Representing the South Atlantic Conference are Nolan McMillen and Peter Plougmand from Mars Hill who were selected to the first team. Additionally, Frederic Benedix of Coker was also a first team selection. Coker's Matty Tricker earned a second team nod while teammate Nikola Sotra was named to the third team.
The Division II first team had a 3.92 average GPA. Eleven total members have 4.00 GPAs, with five of those on the first team.
