Limestone 4, Mars Hill 2
Mathews, N.C.- Men's Soccer took down Mars Hill in the South Atlantic Conference Semifinals 4-2. The Saints controlled the ball for most of the game, however Mars Hill's strong offense did not let up through the match. Limestone advances to the South Atlantic Conference finals on Sunday against Lenoir-Rhyne kickoff will be at 1:00 p.m.
Lenoir-Rhyne 2, Coker 1 (OT)
MATTHEWS, N.C.-- Daniel Martinez had a day he will never forget. Staring at a 1-0 halftime deficit, Martinez quickly tied the game at 1-1 with a header off the assist from Harri Rowe. The game would stay locked heading into overtime, where Martinez rocketed a volley into the side netting just four minutes in to send the Bears to the SAC Championship.
The Bears will now play the No. 1 seed Limestone on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Saints defeated Mars Hill 4-2 in Friday's first contest.
