Anderson's Bos and LMU's Benedek Miklosi Awarded SAC WePlayed Sports Men's Soccer Players of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Men's Soccer Players of the Week for matches played during week eight of the 2024 season. Anderson's Lukas Bos was named the Offensive Player of the Week while Lincoln Memorial's Daniel Benedek Miklosi earned Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Bos, a senior from Capelle Aan Den Ijssel, Netherlands, netted a pair of goals in a 2-0 week for the Trojans last week. He scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Tusculum and added another tally in a 2-0 victory over Carson-Newman. Each of Bos' goals on the week were game winners.

Miklosi, a sophomore from Budapest, Hungary, was a key factor in the Railsplitters 1-0 upset win over No. 3 Limestone. He recorded a clean sheet with five saves as the Saints took their first loss of the season. The LMU win was significant for their NCAA Tournament hopes. This is the third time this season that Benedek Miklosi has earned SAC Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
