Limestone and Coker Remain in USC Top 25
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference boasts two teams in the top 21 of the men's soccer national rankings as the USC National Poll was released. This was the sixth poll of the season.
Limestone held steady at No. 5 in the poll for the third straight week which is the highest ranking this season for Limestone. The Saints defeated Emory & Henry 1-0 and then tied Francis Marion 1-1-1 last week. The goal scored by Francis Marion was the first conceded by Limestone since the season opener on Sept. 5.
Coker comes in at No. 11 in this week's rankings. The Cobras are 9-1 overall and 5-1 in the SAC and defeated Lenoir-Rhyne and Mars Hill last week by a combined score of 5-1.
