South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Men's Soccer Players of the Week Announced

ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its WePlayed Sports Men's Soccer Players of the Week for matches played during week five of the 2024 season. Lincoln Memorial swept this week with Dati Chinchaladze being named the Offensive Player of the Week and Daniel Benedek Miklosi  bringing home Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Chinchaladze, a senior from Tbilisi, Georgia, helped LMU to wins over Tusculum and No. 9 Wingate in SAC play last week. He notched assists on each of the LMU goals in the upset win over Wingate as the Railsplitters defeated their second ranked opponent on the season.  

Benedek Miklosi, a sophomore from Budapest, Hungary, made five saves in a 2-0 week for the Railsplitters, including stopping a penalty kick as LMU posted a 2-0 victory over No. 9 Wingate on Saturday. Thanks to his efforts, LMU improved to 5-2-2 overall and 2-2-1 in the conference.
