Lenoir-Rhyne Ranked No. 8, Wingate Moves to No. 18 in Latest AFCA Division II Coaches Poll
After the first week of NCAA Division II football action, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears and Wingate Bulldogs remain ranked in the latest AFCA Division II Coaches Poll.
The Bears defeated St. Augustine's 68-7 and stayed strong at No. 8, while Wingate jumped ot No. 18 after a 42-6 win over Johnson C. Smith.
Carson-Newman received votes but fell just shy of the Top-25 ranking after it's 20-13 win over West Florida.
