Seeds Released in First South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Beach Volleyball Championship

ROCK HILL, S.C. (theSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference has announced the seeds and pool play schedule for the Inaugural South Atlantic Conference Carolinas 2025 Beach Volleyball Championships. The historic first championship will begin with pool play on Friday, April 11 at Gaston College in Dallas, N.C. at 9:30 a.m. with the championship being played on Saturday, April 12 at 1:30 p.m.

The tournament will be conducted using a three-team pool play, single round-robin format. All matches will utilize the best two out of three sets format.

Carson-Newman went a perfect 10-0 in conference play to lock up the top seed and will be in Pool A. Joining Carson-Newman in Pool A are the No. 4 seed Catawba and the No. 5 seed Erskine.

Pool B is headlined by the 2-seed who is Tusculum. The Pioneers went 6-4 in conference action to secure the second seed. They will be joined in Pool B by the No. 3 seed Emmanuel and the No. 6 seed Wingate.

The tournament schedule is as follows:

Day 1:

Pool A - #1 Carson-Newman vs. #5 Erskine – 9:30 a.m.
Pool B - #2 Tusculum vs. #6 Wingate – 11:00 a.m.
Pool A - #1 Carson-Newman vs. #4 Catawba – 12:30 p.m.
Pool B - #2 Tusculum vs. #3 Emmanuel – 2:30 p.m.
Pool A - #4 Catawba vs. #5 Erskine – 4:00 p.m.
Pool B - #3 Emmanuel vs. #6 Wingate – 5:30 p.m.

Day 2:

Pool A #1 vs. Pool B #2 – 10 a.m.
Pool B #1 vs. Pool A #2 – 11:30 a.m.

Semifinal Winners – 1:30 p.m.
