ROCK HILL, S.C. (theSAC.com) – Wingate's Amelia Talbott and Lilou Thieme have been named the WePlayed Sports South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week.

Talbott and Thieme were dominant at the No. 1 flight for the Bulldogs, posting a perfect 6-0 record on the week without dropping a set. Their stellar performances helped Wingate secure four wins while battling through a pair of tight 3-2 matches.

The duo opened the week with two straight-set victories against Catawba, followed by commanding wins over Salem and Jacksonville State on Friday. They capped off their undefeated week with decisive victories over Lynchburg and Liberty on Saturday, extending their current winning streak to eight matches.
