ROCK HILL, S.C. (theSAC.com) – Wingate's Amelia Talbott and Lilou Thieme have been named the WePlayed Sports South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week.

Talbott and Thieme played a crucial role in Wingate's success over the weekend, going 2-0 on Saturday to help the first-year Bulldogs secure wins over Lake Sumter and Barry. Competing at the No. 1 flight, the duo delivered a clutch three-set victory against Barry, rallying from an 11-4 deficit in the third set to claim a 15-13 win and clinch the team's 3-2 triumph.

The pair's performances highlighted their resilience and ability to perform under pressure as they continue to compete against strong competition in their inaugural season.
