ANDERSON, S.C. – The Catawba College women's volleyball team dropped the opening game of a four-game slate at the Electric City Invitational to host, Anderson University, on Thursday night.
The Trojans used a highly-efficient attack and took advantage of 15 errors on Catawba serves and receptions to take the game 25-7, 25-17, 25-14. Ashley Johnson led on the attack with seven of the team's 19 kills.
Catawba will look to get back on track with a pair of games tomorrow against Converse at 11:00 a.m. followed by a matchup with Alabama Huntsville at 3:30 p.m.
