Volleyball Drops Conference Match at Anderson (S.C.) Saturday

ANDERSON, S.C. - Coker University volleyball dropped its South Atlantic Conference match at Anderson (S.C.) on Saturday (Oct. 2) by a score of 3-0.

Chelsey Blume paced Coker with seven kills in the match, while six others registered kills in the match. Ashley Carson dished out a team-high 12 assists in the match, while four others also registered assists in the contest. Makayla Harris led the team with seven digs in the match, while eight other Cobras posted digs in the match. Lauren Loveday recorded the lone solo block in the match, while Blume had two block assists and Taylor Parker and Loveday each had one.

The Cobras return to the court on Tuesday (Oct. 5) to travel to UNC Pembroke for a non-conference matchup. First serve is set for 6:00 p.m. from Pembroke, N.C., with video and live stats available at www.cokercobras.com.
