ANDERSON, S.C. – The Anderson University men's tennis team used a doubles sweep to propel them to a, 6-3 victory over Belmont Abbey Friday afternoon at the Reidy Tennis Center.

With the win, Anderson improves to 8-2 overall while Belmont Abbey falls to 5-5 overall.

In the singles action, Nicolas Ascarrunz, Ignacio Bidegain and Preston Morpeth each earned a point to set the final score at 6-3.

Anderson returns to action on Sunday when it travels to South Atlantic Conference opponent Carson-Newman. First serve is slated for 2 p.m.
