TIGERVILLE, S.C. – After being swept through the doubles round, Anderson University men's tennis mounted a comeback during the singles portion, as the Trojans edge out nonconference opponent North Greenville with a 5-4 Friday afternoon in Tigerville.

With the victory, AU moves to 7-2 on the season while North Greenville falls to 1-5.

North Greenville looked to be on pace to a victory after sweeping the doubles portion, 3-0. However, the Trojans were resilient in the singles portion to grab the 5-4 triumph.

Anderson returns to action when it begins travels to Spartanburg Methodist on Sunday. First serve is slated for 11 a.m.
