Coker Men's Tennis Defeats LMU for South Atlantic Conference Victory

HARTSVILLE, S.C. -- The Coker College men's tennis team picked up a big South Atlantic Conference victory over Lincoln Memorial on Saturday (Apr. 6), improving to 4-4 in conference play on the season.

Melwin Krall, Hunter Horton, Justus Lehmann, and Isaac Sturgess all won their singles matches to give Coker the victory. Krall's improved to 9-7 on the season with his #1 singles victory, downing David Segarra 6-3, 4-6, 6-3. Horton won in #2 singles 6-4, 6-2, and Lehman dominated his #3 singles match 6-1, 6-2. Sturgess won the fourth point for the Cobras, defeating his #4 singles 7-5, 6-2.

The Cobras will be back in action on Tuesday (Apr. 9) when they host Queens for another South Atlantic Conference contest. Matches are scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.
