Cobras Top Valkyries at USC Sumter Invitational

SUMTER, S.C. - The Coker women's tennis team won their second straight match on Saturday (Feb. 12), as they defeated Converse at the USC Sumter Invitational 6-1.

Jessica Binzari/Angelina Krieg got the 6-3 victory at No. 1 doubles and Khushi Agarwal/Michelle Schaub picked up the win at No. 3 doubles 6-1 to clinch the doubles point for the Cobras.

Binzari won again at No. 1 singles 6-2,6-1 and fellow freshman Tamara Macias registered a 1-6,6-4,6-4 victory at No. 2 singles. Olivia Drake won No. 4 singles 6-2,2-6,6-0 and Michelle Schaub took care of business at the No. 5 singles slot 6-1,6-1. Agarwal rounded out the dominant Cobra win with a 4-6,6-1,6-1 triumph at No. 6 singles.
