Greenwood, SC- The Lady Railsplitters took on the Lander Bearcats this evening in South Carolina. Lincoln Memorial fought hard all game long but came up short. The final score of the game was 45-57, Lander.
 
In the 1^st quarter, Lauren Flowers put up 6 points and Alexa Smiddy and Saquita Joyner both put up 2 points each. Saquita Joyner had 4 rebounds and Jordan Maney had 3 rebounds. At the end of the 1^st, LMU was behind by 2 points and the score was 10-12. In the 2^nd quarter, Zakiyah Moss put up 5 points, Alexa Smiddy put up 3 points, Saquita Joyner put up 2 points and Chloe Savage put up 1 point. Grace Day had 2 rebounds and 1 block. The Lady Railsplitters trailed by 4 at the end of the half.
 
In the 3^rd quarter, Saquita Joyner put up 4 points, Lauren Flowers put up 2 points and Alexa Smiddy followed with 2 more points. Lauren Flowers was very aggressive on the backboards in the 3^rd quarter with 4 rebounds. In the 4^th quarter, Lauren Flowers and Alexa Smiddy both put up 6 points, followed by Saquita Joyner's 2 additional points. The defense was dominant on the backboards in the 4^th with 4 rebounds from Lauren Flowers, 3 rebounds from Chloe Savage, 2 rebounds from Geovana Rios, and 1 from Jordan Maney.

The Lady Railsplitters fell to the Bearcats 57-45 this Wednesday afternoon. LMU will be back in action Friday and Saturday where they will take on North Georgia and Clayton State in the Nighthawk Classic.
