Game 1- W 7-3

Coker looked to grab a win against a well-built Newberry roster.  On top of the First Caleb McCants singled down the left field line scoring Nick Leonard and giving the team a (1-0) lead. Jacob Yarberry singled into center collecting his first RBI of the game scoring Jaylen Mack putting the team up (2-1). Yarberry in a heads-up play got himself in a run-down scoring Adam Wilkerson and opening up the lead (3-1). Nick Leonard with a swing of the bat doubled into center field however, Cameron Ferrell reached home as an unearned run. Ashby Vining hit another double and scored Leonard from second. Ferrell the very next inning singled into the outfield scoring Landon Reeves and putting the finishing touches on the game.

Game 2- L 18-1

Coker dropped their second game. Kody Hanna singled into center field scoring Ferrell. The run went on to be the only run the Cobras scored in game two. Shepherd put together a great performance showing great teamwork as well as patients in the box. Coker went on to drop the game (18-1).
