Cobras Pull Off Come From Behind Win vs. Belmont Abbey

In a close and competitive matchup, Coker Softball emerged victorious against Belmont Abbey with a final score of 4-3. The game was held at Crusader Field in Belmont, North Carolina, with a total attendance of 74 fans.

The Coker Cobras started off slow, falling behind 1-0 in the first inning. However, they rallied in the fifth inning with Caitlyn Wray driving in two runs to take a 2-1 lead. Belmont Abbey fought back in the bottom of the inning, tying the game at 2-2. In the sixth inning, Coker regained the lead with Kelsi Scott's RBI single and held on to secure the 4-3 victory.

Pitcher Madie Andrews played a key role in Coker's win, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits with 1 walk and 1 strikeout in a complete game effort. On the offensive side, Kelsi Scott led the way with 3 hits and 1 RBI.
