Hartsville, SC- Francis Marion jumped on the hits early hitting a double and a heater down the third base line scoring the first few runs of the game and putting the FMU up (0-3). Caleb McCants singled at the bottom of the second and advanced to third with a double from Eli Hopkins. McCants was driven in by a sacrifice fly putting the Cobras on the board (1-3). The action started for Coker at the bottom of the 4th as Kody Hanna reached on a walk and scored off a sacrifice bunt down the first base line cutting into the lead (2-3). Zack Wall singled into the outfield scoring McCants and tying up the game at 4 a piece. Adam Wilkerson helped out the Cobras hitting a double into right field scoring Landon Reeves and Wall. Donavan Frayer went back-to-back doubles scoring Wilkerson. Hanna walked scoring Frayer from third and opening up the lead (6-3). Frayer came up the very next inning with two guys on the bases and sent a heater over the right fielder who almost caught it at the fence but Frayer was able to score two runs putting Coker up (9-3). Reeves added to the run total by stealing home at the bottom of the 7th growing the lead (10-3). Nick Leonard singled scoring Ferrell added to the lead but was thrown out trying to grab an extra base.  Aaron Diaz had a solid outing for the Cobras as he only gave up three runs in the first inning and went 6 innings scoreless. Coker won at the bottom of the 8th as Wall grounded out to second and Jacob Yarberry scored putting a ten-run rule into effect and ending the game (13-3).
