Women's lacrosse pauses team activities due to COVID protocols

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum University women's lacrosse team has postponed three of its upcoming South Atlantic Conference games due to COVID-19 management requirements within the league.

Games affected include Saturday's road game at Mars Hill (Feb. 27), TU's Mar. 6 home game with Newberry and the Mar. 13 contest at Lenoir-Rhyne. Also, Tusculum's non-conference game at Lee University (Mar. 3) has been cancelled. Rescheduled dates for the three SAC games will be announced in the near future.

Tusculum has paused all team activities due to positive cases within the women's lacrosse program. Every team in the league is adhering to minimum outlined protocols produced by the conference and its members for return to play.

Tusculum (1-0, 0-0 SAC) is scheduled to return to action on March 17 when the Pioneers travel to Young Harris for a 4 p.m. non-conference contest.
