WINGATE, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's lacrosse team (1-5, 0-2 SAC) was defeated by No. 17 Wingate (6-1, 2-0 SAC) by a score of 22-0 Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs were led offensively by Megan Millard, who scored seven goals in the contest.
Victoria Kaercher and Emma Porterfield split time between the pipes for the Lions, combining for six saves.
Mars Hill returns home on Saturday, March 15 when they host Catawba in SAC play. First draw is set for 3 p.m. inside Meares Stadium.
