Dahlonega, Ga- The Lady Railsplitters (2-1) took on the undefeated North Georgia Nighthawks (2-0) this evening. The Nighthawks defeated Lincoln Memorial 68-60, giving the Railsplitters their 2
nd loss of the season.

st quarter, Geovana Rios started Lincoln Memorial with a 3-pointer. Chloe Savage, Alexa Smiddy, and Saquita Joyner all made 3-pointers following the 1
st 3 from Geovana Rios. Alexa Smiddy recorded 3 rebounds. At the end of the quarter, Lincoln Memorial trailed by 1 point with the score being 16-17. The 2
nd quarter was started off by 2 good layups by Saquita Joyner and followed by 2 layups from
Lauren Flowers and Geovana Rios. Alexis Schulz put up 5 points towards the end of the quarter. Saquita Joyner recorded 3 rebounds. Lincoln Memorial was down by 3 at the end of the quarter with the score being 29-32.

rd quarter, Saquita Joyner put up 8 points,
Jordan Maney put up 2 points with 2 rebounds, Zakiyah Moss put up a 3-pointer,
Lauren Flowers put up 3 points with 2 rebounds, and Alexis Schulz put up 3 points. At the end of the 3
rd, Lincoln Memorial and North Georgia were tied 48-48. Alexa Smiddy put up 9 points in the 4
th quarter followed by Alexis Schulz putting up a 3-pointer. Alexis Schulz had 3 rebounds and Alexis Smiddy had 2 rebounds. At the end of the 4
th the score was 60-68, North Georgia.

The Lady Railsplitters were defeated by the Nighthawks this Friday evening 60-68 in the first game of the Nighthawk Classic. Lincoln Memorial will be back in action tomorrow, Saturday November 19, at 2 pm for game 2 against Clayton State.
