- Freshman Leo Knothe (Hanover, GERMANY) was defeated 1-6, 2-6 by Wynn Shioi at No. 2 singles.
- Junior Nathan Spurling (Abingdon, Va.) trailed 0-6, 1-4 to Vicent Mico Fenollar at No. 3 singles when their match was unfinished.
- Junior Tristan Hicks (Abingdon, Va.) was behind 2-6, 0-4 at No. 4 singles to Reddy Dandapoojith when the match was unfinished.
- Junior Keenan Glago (Harrisonburg, Va.) lost the opening set 3-6 and was down 2-4 in the second set to Hamp Goldman at No. 5 singles when the match was abandoned.
- Senior Alvaro Garcia (Madrid, SPAIN) lost by a 1-6, 1-6 margin to Patrick Cronin at No. 6 singles.
Women's Match
- Anderson swept No. 1 and No. 2 doubles by 6-0 scores to jump ahead 1-0 in the match.
- Freshman Tahnne Sesma (Zumaia, SPAIN) trailed 0-6, 0-5 to Valentina Borda at No. 1 singles when their match was unfinished.
- Freshman Ellyson Kovacs (Bristol, Tenn.) lost the opening set 1-6, but battled and was narrowly behind 5-6 to Gigi Sompayrac at No. 2 singles when their match was abandoned.
- Junior Nina Williams (Fleet, ENGLAND) was defeated 0-6, 1-6 at the No. 3 singles spot by Alex Braithwaite.
- Sophomore Olivia Pursley (Hendersonville, N.C.) fell 0-6, 1-6 to Elena Ronconi at No. 4 singles.
- Sophomore Karlie Quinn (Mocksville, N.C.) was downed 0-6, 1-6 by Ensley Collins at the No. 5 singles position.
- Sophomore Meghan Moore (Midlothian, Va.) was behind 3-6, 0-3 to Ariana Daduica at No. 6 singles when the match was unfinished.
