Gallagher's Four Goals Not Enough Against Lenoir-Rhyne
HICKORY, N.C. - The Coker women’s lacrosse team fell in South Atlantic Conference action to Lenoir-Rhyne by a score of 19-8 on Saturday (Mar. 5).

HICKORY, N.C. - The Coker women's lacrosse team fell in South Atlantic Conference action to Lenoir-Rhyne by a score of 19-8 on Saturday (Mar. 5).
The Bears jumped out to an early lead, as they held a 14-3 advantage at the halftime break. Two goals from Hannah Shuren and one tally from Meagan Gallagher accounted for the Cobra scores. Coker remained resilient in the second half, as they were even in the goal column with the Bears for the half 5-5. Gallagher added a second half hat-trick to go along with another goal from Shuren and an Annabelle Chuilli score. Abby Kellner recorded ten saves in between the pipes for the Cobras.
Coker will return to play Saturday (Mar. 12), as they host South Atlantic Conference foe Wingate University at noon. Live video and statistics can be found at www.cokercobras.com.
