HARROGATE, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's basketball team (6-12, 4-12 SAC) was defeated by No. 6 Lincoln Memorial (15-3, 13-2 SAC) by a score of 97-64 Wednesday night on the road.
The Railsplitters led 43-29 after the first half, hitting 15-of-24 shots, draining five threes. EJ Smith and Wes Enis led the team with nine points apiece. Kory Davis and Kadyn Dawkins led the Lions with eight points apiece while Daniel Mayfield added seven.
In the second half, the Railsplitters put up 54 points with Enis leading all players with 14 points. Dinari Boykin led the Lions with eight points followed by Mayfield's seven.
Mayfield led the Lions with 14 points while Dawkins concluded the night with 12 and Davis with 10. Chase McWhite led the team with two blocks while Davis led the team with three steals.
Mars Hill returns to action on Saturday, February 1 when they face Coker at 4 p.m. inside Chambers Gymnasium.
