HICKORY, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's soccer team (3-2-1, 1-2 SAC) was defeated by Lenoir-Rhyne (5-0-3, 4-0 SAC) by a score of 4-0 Saturday evening.
The Bears struck three times in the first half with Aly Ramsey netting two goals. Skylar Noll added the third tally.
In the second, Elin Hansson scored her sixth of the season.
Lenoir-Rhyne outshot the Lions 24-4 with Evan O'Leary leading all players with seven attempts.
Marianne Ross, Elida Taylor, Ashley Lindsay, and Bailey Whitehead-Price were credited with the Lions' shot attempts.
Mars Hill returns home, hosting Carson-Newman on Wednesday, September 27 at 5 p.m. in Meares Stadium.
