Anderson, S.C.- Anderson University softball split a nonconference doubleheader contest with Erskine dropping game one, 5-2, while winning the nightcap, 4-0, on Tuesday evening at the AU Softball Complex.
Anderson moves to 22-16 overall while the Flying Fleet move to 22-11.

A three-run homerun in the top of the seventh busted a 2-2 tie to lift Erskine over the Trojans.
Notables
Junior Mattie Hamilton went 1-for-2 with a two-run homerun.
Sophomore Harlie Duncan (13-5) suffered the loss giving up seven hits while striking out six.

Anderson jumped out to an early 2-0 lead with freshman Kayson Boatner providing some breathing room with a two-run double in the sixth to help set the final score at 4-0.

Boatner went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Sophomore Kayla Pepper (9-11) pitched a gem allowing just two hits while striking out five.
Anderson remains home to welcome South Atlantic Conference opponent Wingate on Sunday. First pitch of the doubleheader is scheduled for 1 pm.
