HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker University softball team fell today (Apr. 6) to Wingate University by scores of 8-3 and 5-4.

Game one 

The Cobras would fall 8-3 in game one with Aja Jay going 4-4 from the plate with a triple and one run scored. Chloe Pelham would record a home run for the Cobras.

Game Two

Wingate would jump out ahead early when they would plate three runs through the first three innings. 

Bailey Doulgas's 2 RBI single to right center would score Arianna Fair and Ava Jay to cut into the Wingate lead. 

The Bulldogs would increase their lead to 5-2 in the fourth from a 2 RBI double.

Chloe Pelhams RBI single in the fourth would keep the Cobras in it as Coker pulled within three,

In the bottom of the fifth inning Bailey Douglas would launch a solo homerun over the left field line wall to bring Coker within one. 

Coker would fall in game two 5-4.

Bailey Douglas would 2-4 with three rbi's and one run scored.
