FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - The Mars Hill women's lacrosse team (1-2) was defeated by Emmanuel (3-1) by a score of 18-5 Saturday afternoon on the road.

Mars Hill was held scoreless in the first, but netted three in the second. Brooklyn Nemitz, Abby Cleveland, and Kendall Middleton scored the Mars Hill goals.

Emmanuel put up another scoreless frame in the third, outscoring Mars Hill 7-0. Mars Hill tallied two goals in the final frame, free position, man-up goals from the sticks of Madison Welch and Haley Stallings.

Mars Hill returns to action on Wednesday, February 26 when they host Converse in non-conference play. First draw inside Meares Stadium is set for 6 p.m.
