Mars Hill rolls in return home versus UVA Wise
The Mars Hill volleyball team (11-5, 3-4 SAC) defeated UVA Wise (3-10, 0-7 SAC) in straight sets (25-13, 25-18, 25-9) Friday night inside Chambers Gymnasium.
MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill volleyball team (11-5, 3-4 SAC) defeated UVA Wise (3-10, 0-7 SAC) in straight sets (25-13, 25-18, 25-9) Friday night inside Chambers Gymnasium.
Following their four-game road trip, the Lions returned home and did not waste any time getting back to their winning ways. Improving their home record to 3-1, Mars Hill hit a dominant .411 on the night, including a .526 third set that held the Cavaliers to less than 10 points.
UVA Wise committed a total of 35 errors on the night (19 attack, 12 service, four receiving) and hit above .100 once on the night as a team. The Lions committed only four attack errors.
