USC Aiken Edged Trojans; 4-3

ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson University men's tennis was edged out by nonconference opponent USC Aiken, 4-3, on Monday afternoon at the AU Tennis Complex.

The Black and Gold earned the doubles point while USC Aiken was able to win four of the six singles matches to claim the 4-3 victory.

Brown and Kush won both their doubles match as a pairing and won their singles match to help earn the three Trojan points. AU's tandem of Depiaggio and Dayton won at the No. 3 doubles flight to help secure the point from the doubles portion.

Anderson begin South Atlantic Conference play on Monday when it travels to Newberry. First serve is scheduled for 2 pm.
