Eagles Stay Hot, Defeat Emory & Henry for Fourth-Straight SAC Win

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Riding a hot streak, Carson-Newman (6-5, 4-2 SAC) cruised to its fourth-straight conference win, defeating Emory & Henry (3-9, 1-5 SAC), 4-1.

In singles, the Eagles took three of four matches to clinch. Freshman Sindija Manovska earned an impressive three-set victory, battling back from dropping the first set to earn an important point in No. 4 singles. Due to playing to clinch, Suryanshi and Leah McBride got the day off from the singles court.

C-N found similar success in doubles, taking all three matches to earn the doubles point. The all-conference pairing of Natasha Forrest and Summer Reeves continued an impressive campaign with a win in the No. 1 doubles.
