
Lions win 20th of season, down Coker in four

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Mars Hill volleyball team (20-10, 8-8 SAC) defeated Coker (3-21, 1-15 SAC) in four sets (25-16, 22-25, 25-19, 26-24) Saturday afternoon on the road.
Mars Hill hit .254 in the contest, knocking down 60 kills and committing only 11 attack errors. The Lions combined for nine team blocks (four solo, 10 assisted) on the day, led by Jana Cuk's 4.5 (three solo, three blocks assists).
The Lions picked up their 20th win of the season, marking the first time since 1998 the Lions have won 20 matches or more in a season. Mars Hill closes out their regular season road schedule with a record of 11-5.
