How It Happened
The Bobcats drew first blood in the opening period, less than three minutes into the contest. About four minutes later, Beighey's unassisted goal evened things up at 1-1 with over eight mintes left in the period. After a lull in play, the Bobcats took yet another lead, scoring with under a minute and a half left in the period.
The Cobras proceeded to go on a run that spanned around ten minutes across two different quarters. With less than a minute left on the clock in the first quarter, Tyler Ajemian scored off an Augie Ford assist to tie it at 2-2. Marshall scored an unassisted goal five minutes into the second quarter to take Coker's first lead of the game, with Hiltz scoring shortly ater on a man-up opportunity off an assist from Forehand. Marshall then assisted on Jackson Duke's score around two and a half minutes later to extend the lead to 5-2 and cap off the run.
Before the half ended, Lees-McRae clawed their way back in this one with two end-of-period goals to cut the deficit to just one at the half at 5-4. However, Coker responded with an even bigger run than they had previously to start off the second half. A five-goal run (two from Hiltz, two from Beighey, and one from Britt Rumbaugh) gave the Cobras a comfortable cushion and allowed them to finish this one out with a final score of 10-6.

One more would give him sole possession of ninth, while two more would tie him for eighth with Ethan Irizarry (29).
